Gum Grafting

Gingivitis or more serious gum disease can result in receded gums that adversely impact the appearance of your smile. Additionally, some people have naturally higher gums that can make teeth look elongated.

At Oxford House Dental Practice, we offer gum grafting treatment that uses healthy tissue from another part of your mouth to restore the gum structure around your teeth. Gum grafting serves a practical purpose, as well as an aesthetic one. By restoring your gums, you may experience reduced sensitivity to hot and cold food and drinks.

Gum grafting works so well because it uses natural tissue rather than synthetics. In addition to using your own tissue, it is possible to use tissue from a donor.
